Static Microphone

The AKG C414 XLII is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for lead vocals, acoustic instruments and detailed recording. Its curve, inspired by the legendary C12, provides presence and clarity in the high frequencies, ideal for recordings requiring relief. With its multiple polar patterns and meticulous electronics, it can be adapted to any studio context.

ARTICLE N° 35526
The C414 XLII is a microphone designed by AKG specifically for recordings where maximum clarity is required.

The AKG C414 XLII is one of the quietest microphones on the market, and is what we call a safe bet.

It differs from the XLS model in that it has a slight accentuation from the upper mids (3kHz) to highlight the voices or instruments concerned by these frequencies. It can be distinguished by the gold-coloured grille on the front panel.

The AKG C414 XLII microphone is an ideal choice for professional musicians, sound engineers and producers looking for a versatile microphone for a wide range of recording applications. With its large diaphragm and adjustable pick-up pattern, this microphone can capture a variety of sound sources with great accuracy and outstanding sound quality.

The C414 XLII features several adjustable polar patterns, including omnidirectional, cardioid, figure-of-eight and intermediate configurations, making it highly versatile and suitable for a variety of recording situations. In addition, the switchable low-cut filter and attenuation pad allow the microphone to be adjusted to suit specific acoustic conditions.

The body of the microphone is made entirely of metal, offering great robustness and resistance to shock and vibration. The microphone also comes with an anti-shock suspension for vibration-free use on a stand, as well as a clamp for studio use.

With its extended frequency response and ability to capture signals with high accuracy and low distortion, the C414 XLII is a versatile and professional microphone suitable for a variety of recording applications, whether for vocals, acoustic instruments, guitar amplifiers or drums. Whether you're recording in the studio or live, the AKG C414 XLII is the safe choice for professional-quality sound.
