AKG - DMM8 ULD
The AKG DMM8 ULD is a professional digital automixer designed for conference systems and broadcast environments requiring advanced microphone control and Dante integration. With integrated DSP, matrix routing and cascading of up to 80 channels, it adapts to complex audio installations while maintaining excellent speech intelligibility.
Presentation
Its integrated DSP automates the management of open microphones to limit the classic problems encountered in multi-microphone systems: accumulation of ambient noise, comb effect, level variations or risk of feedback. Thanks to the ability to cascade up to 10 units, the DMM8 ULD can handle up to 80 channels for particularly extensive conference or broadcast configurations.
This ULD version is distinguished by its integrated Dante interface. All analogue inputs can be used as direct Dante outputs, while analogue and USB outputs are also available on the audio network. The system features 14 freely assignable Dante outputs and 4 Dante streams that can be used as additional inputs, making it easy to integrate into broadcast environments or distributed audio systems.
The DMM8 ULD also offers a wide range of DSP processing including 12-band graphic EQ, filters, compression, limiting, ducking, delay, mic priority and full matrix routing. Its six programmable presets allow you to quickly recall different configurations depending on the type of event or the layout of the speakers.
Its 1U, 19-inch rack format makes it easy to integrate into professional technical racks, while its German design guarantees stable operation in fixed installations and continuous broadcast environments.

Spotlight on
Founded in 1947 in Vienna, AKG is today one of the major players in the world of audio, with references for microphones and headphones used in the world's largest recording studios. These include the C414 condenser microphone, the small C451 diaphragm and the K series of monitoring headsets.
Since its acquisition by Harman International in 1994, AKG has continued to innovate with new stage microphones, analog and digital wireless systems, the Perception Series, and collaborations with artists such as Tiësto on DJ headphones.
