ADJ - Pixie Driver 8000 V2

When it comes to controlling a large number of LED bars with total fluidity and precise mapping, ADJ's Pixie Driver 8000 V2 ticks all the boxes. Installed in a rack or fixed to a structure, this controller manages up to 8160 pixels in Kling-Net via its 8 ports, while remaining accessible to the Art-Net and sACN protocols for perfect compatibility with the most widespread lighting control systems.

This model excels in its flexibility of use. Each 4-pin output supplies both data and power to the Pixie Strips, using a simple proprietary combo cable. This means you can efficiently daisy-chain multiple bars (up to 50 feet per link), without the need for multiple power supplies or DMX boxes. Whether you're working on a festival stage or a permanent installation, the time savings are real.

Navigation is fluid thanks to the integrated OLED screen, backed up by a 4-button menu. Everything can be set directly on the front panel: strobe management, RGB dimming, internal programme launch... or pixel-by-pixel full control. All this with firmware updates available via USB port, a real plus for upgrading the system.

Where this model really makes the difference is in its ability to manage complex configurations without exploding the CPU load. It can drive up to 34 Pixie Strip 30s per port in Kling-Net, or adapt to more precise formats in Art-Net/sACN, with real finesse in the rendering of effects and transitions.
