The ABM 1200 EVO IV combines the ABM preamp with a 1200W power stage delivering enormous bass, ideal for the biggest stages. Whether live or in the studio, the ABM series has become the reference for many of the world's most prominent bassists. Immediately recognisable on stages the world over thanks to its luminous VU meter. Now in its fifth incarnation, it combines a state-of-the-art preamp with enhanced performance and a brand new 9-band EQ.

Presentation
The Variable Valve Drive preamp section has been enhanced in the EVO IV. Supplying more current to the 12AX7 tube allows for more harmonic content and drive than ever before, allowing musicians to dial in a pristine clean sound to the biggest, most complete bass overdrive currently available. The Drive level can be preset and switched on and off via a footswitch, giving access to a wide range of clean, warm and saturated sounds.
Bassists plugging into EVO IV will immediately be greeted by the flicker of the new input VU meter, allowing them to quickly find the sweet spot for their instrument. From there, EVO IV features a sophisticated 9-band EQ, with familiar bass, midrange and treble controls and six sliders offering precision cut and boost at 100Hz, 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3KHz, 2.6KHz and 5KHz.
The EVO IV also features Ashdown's famous One Knob Dynamic Compressor sub-octave note for huge bass sounds. Fire it up and this easy-to-use, great-sounding compressor delivers a powerful, even tone, guaranteed to help your bass fill out any mix.
