Unlike its predecessor, the MTRX II offers a 4096 x 4096 router, allowing audio to be routed to any connected device in your setup. It also supports a Dolby Atmos setup (the "Theatrical" version, the most complete) with the 512 x 64 summing mixer. And the MTRX II can take remote control of all sources from an Avid S6 or other EUCON compatible control surfaces.
