The Avid MTRX AES LFHsub Breakout Cable is a connection cable designed for MTRX and MTRX II professional audio interfaces. It exploits the AES/EBU capabilities of these systems by providing a direct link between a card equipped with an LFHsub connector and external audio peripherals using XLR connections.
This derivation cable is designed to simplify audio routing in complex installations, particularly in recording studios, post-production or broadcast. Thanks to its specific architecture, it distributes AES/EBU signals from a single LFHsub connector to several XLR outputs, providing a clear, structured organisation of audio streams.
The configuration supports 8 AES/EBU input pairs and 8 output pairs, giving a total of 16 audio inputs and 16 audio outputs.
