When you purchase Pro Tools, you automatically have access to all minor and major updates that are released within 12 months of activation, with their bundles of new features and performance improvements to help you every day in your creations and productions.
What happens at the end of these 12 months?
You have the choice between:
- recommit for 12 additional months by purchasing a support renewal (you will find this article in the "You may also like" category, below)
- continue to use your software stuck at the latest update available at that time until you decide to upgrade (upgrade or restore available in the "You may also like" category, below):
Avid Pro Tools Upgrade
Pro Tools will allow you to collaborate with other artists wherever you are thanks to the Cloud with 1 GB of space included, expandable up to 80 GB optionally from your Avid account.
Important note: it is not mandatory to wait until the end of the 12 months of support and updates to renew. The renewal will be added to your Avid account automatically no matter when you register this product. For example, if you purchase Pro Tools + 2 support renewals at the same time, you will automatically have all updates and support for 36 months (12 months included with Pro Tools + 2 x 12-month renewals).
