Avid Sibelius Ultimate Perpetual NEW EDU is the perpetual licence version of one of the world’s most widely used music notation programmes. Designed for students, teachers and eligible educational institutions, it enables users to compose, orchestrate, arrange, edit and publish professional-quality scores with no restrictions on size or complexity. Once the licence has been purchased, the software can be used indefinitely, whilst including one year of software updates and Avid support.
A benchmark in conservatoires, universities, studios and publishing houses, Sibelius Ultimate provides a comprehensive set of music engraving tools for producing scores of the very highest quality. Intelligent layout features, numerous customisation options and advanced editing tools make it easy to create orchestral scores, teaching materials, orchestral parts and arrangements for ensembles of all sizes.
This EDU edition offers the same features as the standard professional version. Users benefit in particular from an unlimited number of staves, advanced notation tools, rapid keyboard input, via a MIDI keyboard or a compatible mobile device, as well as Magnetic Layout and Auto Optimise technologies, which automate much of the layout process to produce an instantly readable result.
The licence also includes a 36 GB professional sound library, AudioScore Lite, PhotoScore & NotateMe Lite, as well as access to Sibelius Cloud Sharing to easily share scores with collaborators or students. During the first year, users also benefit from new versions released by Avid, standard technical support and access to the Sibelius app for iPad.
