B&C Speakers - 12CXN76 4+8 Ohm

The 12CXN76 combines two essential elements in a single transducer: a 12-inch woofer for bass and low-midrange coverage, and a 75 mm coaxial-mounted HF motor for high-frequency reproduction.

This configuration ensures perfect time alignment and coherent directivity, while drastically reducing the size of the cabinet.

The neodymium motor common to both sections guarantees high efficiency and low weight. The woofer can handle up to 700 W in programme, thanks to a 76 mm copper coil wound on a fibreglass support, with a useful depth of 16.2 mm.

The HF motor is not to be outdone: its 75 mm aluminium coil, combined with a polyester/titanium dome, ensures a clear and powerful response up to 18 kHz, with a recommended cut-off around 1.2 kHz.

The frequency response of the complete system extends from 45 Hz to 18,000 Hz, with an average sensitivity of 99 dB, making it an ideal solution for compact high-power loudspeakers in stage monitor, front-of-house or fixed installation applications.

The high BL factor (17.6 T-m) and WP treatment of the cone guarantee both precision and resistance to humidity in intensive use.

With a combined impedance of 4+8 Ohm, it is easy to integrate into bi-amplified systems, maintaining an effective load on each channel. The whole package comes in a standard 315 mm diameter, 170 mm deep and weighs just 5.1 kg - a particularly good value for money.
