B&C Speakers - 15CX40 8 Ohm

The 15CX40 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers is a 15-inch coaxial speaker designed for two-way systems that require power, good coverage, and precise reproduction across the entire audio spectrum. Thanks to its integrated design, it combines the bass and treble frequencies within a single chassis, for a coherent and centered soundstage.

The bass section is supported by a 76 mm aluminum voice coil, capable of handling up to 800 W in program mode, while maintaining excellent responsiveness thanks to a sensitivity of 99 dB.

The waterproof-treated cone on the front panel adds useful protection in environments subject to humidity or dust. This LF section exhibits good balance, with a natural response from 45 Hz and controlled mechanical behavior, supported by a robust suspension and ceramic motor.

For the treble, the integrated compression driver uses a 75 mm voice coil, a titanium diaphragm, and a 59.3 mm output, all powered by 160 W of continuous power.

Its high sensitivity (106 dB) guarantees excellent high-frequency projection, with a recommended cutoff of 1.2 kHz, allowing for a smooth transition to the bass section. The assembly offers a controlled 80° directivity, ideal for medium to wide-throw applications.
