The B&C Speakers 15DS100 8 Ohm, also known as the 15 DS 100 or 15-DS100, is part of the new generation of high-performance bass loudspeakers developed by the Italian manufacturer. This 15-inch model is designed for the most powerful subwoofer applications, from simple cabinets to complex loads for high-capacity broadcast systems.

This loudspeaker features a 100 mm four-layer aluminium voice coil wound over a length of 37 mm. This design maximises the active magnetic field in the slot, while limiting heating. The result? Higher efficiency, greater power handling and a significant reduction in distortion at high levels. The motor incorporates a compact, lightweight neodymium magnet, a ventilated slot and an aluminium demodulation ring, all of which help to optimise the driver's thermal and dynamic performance.

With a frequency response extending from 39 to 1000 Hz, a sensitivity of 96.8 dB and a useful excursion of 14.5 mm, the 15DS100 8 Ohm doesn't just deliver level: it does so with precision and control. Its mechanical behaviour is based on a double silicone spider assembly and a triple roll suspension, guaranteeing stable excursion and linear movement even at full power.
