B&C Speakers - 18HTX100 8 Ohm Triax

The B&C Speakers 18HTX100 8 Ohm Triax is like bringing together the best of several worlds in a single component. With its high-efficiency 18" driver coupled with a coaxial mid-high section, the result is a coherent, dynamic, and surprisingly easy-to-integrate point source.

It's a speaker designed for those who want everything in its place, whether front-firing, monitoring, or in a powerful yet controlled full-range enclosure.

This model features a 100 mm aluminum woofer, ventilated and mounted on a fiberglass mount, capable of handling up to 1600 W in program mode. Its TWP-treated cone on both sides and its double silicone surround ensure both flexibility and robustness, even in harsh conditions.

It naturally descends to 44 Hz, with a beautiful response up to 800 Hz, before handing over to a 100 mm midrange driver and a 65 mm treble driver, both based on the DCX464 driver, renowned for its clarity and precision.

The coverage is mastered with a 60° x 40° diffusion angle, well-suited to point-source systems or medium-throw configurations. The integrated horn, optimized by FEA simulation, plays a central role in ensuring consistent response, even off-axis.

And for simplified integration, the FB464 V2 is perfectly suited to passively manage the midrange/treble section, thus allowing more freedom for the amplifiers.

This speaker packs deep bass, articulate midrange, and precise treble into a single chassis. A true audio Swiss Army knife, it lightens systems without sacrificing performance. Weighing in at 12.65 kg, it remains manageable and easily fits into a well-sized enclosure.
