The B&C Speakers 18IPAL 2 Ohm is an 18-inch speaker designed to provide powerful and precise reproduction of low frequencies, particularly in high-performance sound systems.
Its Xmax of 20 mm, well above the average of conventional bass speakers, allows it a significant linear excursion, guaranteeing significant air displacement and reduced distortion, even at high power. Combined with a triple roll suspension and a silicone spider, this extended excursion ensures excellent cone control, reducing mechanical losses and improving power handling on deep bass.
Thanks to a resonance frequency (Fs) of 32 Hz and a recommended load of 150 liters tuned to 35 Hz, this speaker is particularly suitable for bass-reflex enclosures intended for subwoofers for large-scale sound systems. The radial cone treated against humidity guarantees increased reliability, even outdoors or in demanding conditions.
