The MD/DCX464HF 8 Ohm is a replacement diaphragm designed by B&C Speakers for the DCX464 HF and DCX462 HF compression drivers. It is part of a rigorous approach to maintenance, where the aim is to restore original acoustic performance without compromising reliability or mechanical compatibility.
In the DCX series of coaxial or multi-channel drivers, the HF section plays a decisive role in the legibility of the spectrum, the definition of transients and the projection of high frequencies.
A tired or damaged diaphragm can quickly unbalance the whole system. This 8 ohm model allows direct replacement, without modifying the filtering or adjusting the amplification, while respecting the nominal impedance specified by the manufacturer.
The use of an original B&C Speakers diaphragm guarantees a perfect match with the motors concerned.
