A coaxial loudspeaker is based on the harmony between two transducers sharing the same axis. When one of these mechanical elements breaks down, the entire soundstage loses its clarity. The 12HCX76 re-bonding kit in 8 Ohm impedance restores this cohesion, replacing the moving parts while respecting the original acoustic parameters defined by B&C Speakers.
This kit includes all the components needed to restore the cone's agility, the suspension's elastic behaviour and the moving unit's precise alignment in the air gap. The aim of the operation is to restore the responsiveness of the low-midrange, the fluidity of the midrange and the continuity of the transition to high-frequency compression, typical of this coaxial architecture.
Reconnecting rather than replacing preserves the sonic character of the system, particularly when several loudspeakers must continue to operate in a uniform manner. This is often the preferred choice for fleet maintenance, touring services or fixed installations where consistency of reproduction is essential.
The kit is designed for use in workshops or technical departments. Once installed with the appropriate centring and bonding, the loudspeaker regains its initial mechanical behaviour, power handling and definition, while extending its lifespan.
