The B&C MD/DE550TN 8 Ohm diaphragm is designed to effectively replace the active element of a DE550TN compression driver without affecting the overall performance of the system.
This model incorporates all the characteristics of the original diaphragm, with precise manufacturing to ensure faithful reproduction of the upper end of the spectrum, an excellent level of detail and preserved dynamics.
Featuring a titanium membrane, this diaphragm combines rigidity and lightness, two essential qualities for accurate reproduction of high frequencies, even at high levels. It has a 51 mm aluminium coil, a sensitivity of 108 dB and can handle up to 140 W continuously, with a recommended cut-off frequency of 1.2 kHz.
Its operating range extends from 1 kHz to 17 kHz, making it ideal for many applications, both in mobile broadcasting and fixed installation.
Designed for 1" throat motors, it can be easily installed on all B&C DE550TN motors without modification. It is particularly popular with maintenance technicians, service providers and integrators looking for durable, accurate solutions that are compatible with their existing systems.
