The MD/DE120 16 Ohm diaphragm is designed for users who want to refurbish a DE120 compression driver while maintaining its original electrical and acoustic characteristics.
This 16 ohm version is particularly suited to multi-channel systems, complex broadcast networks or installations requiring precise load management on the amplification side.
Designed according to B&C Speakers manufacturing standards, this diaphragm ensures perfect consistency with the design of the DE120 motor, both mechanically and electrically.
The nominal impedance of 16 ohms allows smooth integration into series/parallel configurations, while offering a considerable margin of stability on long or heavily loaded amplifier lines.
In terms of sound, the MD/DE120 16 Ohm maintains a detailed and balanced reproduction of the upper end of the spectrum, with excellent definition of attacks and a homogeneous response at critical frequencies for vocals and acoustic instruments.
The Zmax value of 25.7 ohms reflects the controlled behaviour of the diaphragm in its operating zone, contributing to stable and predictable reproduction.
