The Phonum from beyerdynamic is designed to connect simply to smartphones or computers for phone calls via Bluetooth ® or USB connection.
This little jewel of technology will considerably improve the sound quality of your conference calls, which can also be made via applications such as Skype, Zoom, etc.
Gecko 360° technology enables innovative voice tracking called Fix & Follow. With its 3 capsules, you'll benefit from clear 360° voice transmission, and the speaker, which faces downwards (and not upwards, as you might expect), emits crystal-clear 360° sound for the whole room.
The Phonum's performance is such that you don't feel the distance when you're talking. It's as if the people you're talking to are in the same room as you, with no latency.

GECKO CORRECTION MODE
For a presentation focused on a single speaker, the GECKO FIX mode is ideal. This is because the voice recording focuses precisely on this fixed location. The advantage of this is that noise or what is said by everyone else in the room is not recorded by the microphone. So all listeners can follow the presentation in silent comfort.
GECKO FOLLOW MODE
When communication is directed towards people moving freely around the room during the meeting or when only one person needs to speak, then GECKO FOLLOW is the right mode. This is because the microphones easily follow the people in the room in this mode.
GECKO 360° MODE
When people are gathered around a table at a meeting and communicating with each other, GECKO 360° mode is the right choice. What is said by everyone taking part in the communication is recorded in this mode.

The loudspeaker is not visible because it is directed downwards - and for a good reason. It allows sound to be diffused 360° throughout the room.
