Designed for wide coverage without spreading itself too thin, the Bose Professional ShowMatch SM20 line array loudspeaker is a 2-way bi-amplifiable module capable of adapting to numerous configurations, both fixed and mobile. Its modular design combined with DeltaQ technology ensures precise coverage, both vertically and horizontally, thanks to interchangeable waveguides. It's just as at home in a cosy theatre as in a crowded arena.

At Bose Professional, the ShowMatch SM20 is not designed to flatter technical specifications, but to respond to real constraints. This compact line array module has a vertical dispersion of 20°, which can be adjusted laterally thanks to the 70° and 100° waveguides included, or even extended to 120° with the SM20WG12 kit. You mount it, you point it, it radiates.
The game-changer is DeltaQ technology. By modulating the directivity of each element, it guarantees a more homogenous sound from one end of the audience to the other. Result: fewer hanging boxes, greater vocal clarity. It's a good way of saving your back a little when you're hanging on, and reducing the echo of doubtful glances in the generously proportioned arenas.
With its 2 x 8" neodymium woofers and 4 x EMB2S compression drivers, the SM20 isn't there for timid humming. Powered by 2 channels of amplification and DSP processing, it delivers up to 131dB peak on its own. The kind of voice that carries without straining, with enough power to soundtrack an entire room... or wake up the seats in the last row of a lethargic auditorium.

To create a coherent system, the SM20s work perfectly with ShowMatch SMS118 subwoofers. And if you like to tinker with your configurations, the optional 120° waveguides will allow you to get a little fancy with the sides. A little bonus: the side handles can be easily removed to switch from mobile to installed mode, all without having to struggle with stubborn bolts.
