Ligature and Cap

A semi-rigid ligature for metal mouthpieces that wraps the reed in a supple, precise embrace, the Brancher France AMR combines the stability of a metal plate with the flexibility of nylon. The air circulates, the reed vibrates, the sound breathes. It's an invitation to discover a round, powerful attack.

ARTICLE N° 120192
The Brancher France AMR for alto saxophone belongs to that discreet family of accessories that liberate rather than constrain. Designed for metal mouthpieces, its semi-rigid design plays on a fascinating duality: a double nylon weave wraps the reed in cottony suppleness, while a two-rail metal pressure plate locks the whole thing together with quiet authority. The reed can then open up, breathe, and give off that velvety grain that we often look for without ever naming it.

Under the fingers, the multi-layered material tells a story of contrasts. The nylon absorbs stray vibrations, while the metal channels them. The air column remains straight, the projection gains in thickness, and each attack retains that characteristic roundness of ligatures that know how to let go while staying the course.

The included plastic cap protects this little jewel of technology. Ideal for jazz, fusion or ballads, the AMR doesn't impose itself, it accompanies. It lets the reed sing its own melody.
