The Germanium Compressor from Chandler Limited is a FET transistor mono compressor with Germanium amplifier. It has a Wet / Dry control to mix the compressed signal with the original signal, a compression curve, a Sidechain, and configurable Attack / Release controls.

Dity Comp / Clean Comp: FET compressors suffer from significant distortion. This is usually compensated in the design. The "Dirty Comp" position removes only the hardest distortion in the ear and retains the 2nd and 3rd order harmonics. The "Dirty Comp" position offers a DHT between 2 and 5% and improves the sound significantly. The "Clean Comp" position has a DHT between 0.2 and 0.5%.
