Every studio dreams of having a good limiter, but it's very complicated and expensive to find the best vintage machines, in perfect condition and at low cost. Well, Warm Audio has risen to the challenge, bringing out the famous 1176 under the reference WA76.
If you've already used the 1176, you won't be lost. All the parameters and controllers are identical, placed in the same places, and the signal coming out of the WA76's discrete Class A circuit is identical to the legend!
Warm Audio has simply used the original circuits and transformers from the 1176 to achieve the same dynamic control and sonic signature on the WA76.
Sonovente recommends that you try it out on bass, kick drum, snare drum, vocals - it doesn't matter, it sounds great everywhere! It's a must for punchy drum processing, and if you have two of them, the possibilities are even greater.
