The GOLD D8 Light Burst is a folk guitar with all the benefits of the Cort series. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid Pau Ferro back and sides, and a rich, balanced sound.

Presentation
Like its electro-folk counterparts, the Cort GOLD D8 Light Burst folk guitar features a Pau Ferro back and sides. Native to South America, this dense wood has a warm, round sound and a beautiful resonance. The solid Silka spruce top, on the other hand, has a beautiful brilliance, offering clear, precise note placement.
To avoid muffling the natural resonance of the spruce top, it has been treated with an ATV (Aged To Vintage) torrefaction process and a UV finish. The latter minimises the varnish layer to maximise the wood's sonority for maximum sound depth.
With these features and its Dreadnought shape, this guitar offers a balanced sound and deep resonance, maximising the attack of your playing for remarkable acoustic performance.
