From the very first notes, the Cort L60OP slips through your fingers: its Orchestra Model body has been designed for hands that like to travel. Less wide than a dreadnought but far from shy, it projects a balanced sound, with silky highs, singing midrange and just the right amount of roundness in the bass.
What makes the Cort L60OP sing is its solid spruce, beautifully barded in the Advanced X pattern. This structural duo promotes projection while allowing each nuance to breathe. No matter how hard you strum or how lightly you touch the strings, this guitar responds in a flash, as if it had spent a lifetime listening to you.
When it comes to comfort, the Cort L60OP ticks a few important boxes. Its C-shaped mahogany neck is disconcertingly easy to get to grips with. The laurel fingerboard (or merbau, depending on availability) glides along effortlessly, and the 20 frets invite you to wander the length of the fingerboard. The whole thing exudes well-designed simplicity, without fuss but with care.
