Crown - DCI 2 1250

The Crown DCI 2 1250 is a benchmark for sound integrators looking for power and reliability in a compact format. Designed to meet the needs of modern installations, it delivers up to 1250 W per channel, with the ability to operate in both low impedance and 70/100V line mode without the need for an additional transformer. This means it can be integrated into a conference room, sports complex or auditorium.

DriveCore™ technology is at the heart of this amplifier. The result of years of research, it combines the driver stage and output stage into a single hybrid chip, dramatically reducing components while improving performance. The result: superior energy efficiency, greater precision in bass reproduction and minimal distortion even at high power.

One of the strong points of the DCi series is its independent Hi-Z/Low-Z selection per channel. Each output can be configured to feed directly a pair of low impedance speakers or a large number of 100V in-line speakers, offering maximum installation flexibility. Channels can also be bridged, including in 100V mode, to provide more power, particularly for subwoofer applications.

In terms of efficiency, the DCI 2 1250 incorporates a universal power supply with active power factor correction (PFC). This ensures optimum current utilisation, reduced heat dissipation and compatibility with variable electrical environments, even when powered by generators. Cooling is provided by quiet, efficient variable-speed internal fans.
