Guitar Strings

The D'Addario ETB92S Tapewound set is designed for Short Scale basses with a 50-105 Medium drawbar. Its flattened black nylon cover provides a very soft feel and considerably reduces finger noise. It delivers a warm, round tone, ideal for deep grooves and expressive styles.

The D'Addario ETB92S belongs to the Nylon Tapewound series, renowned for its softness and warm sound. Each string is built around a carbon-rich steel core to ensure strength and stability. It is then wrapped in flattened black nylon mesh and polished to a particularly smooth surface.

The Medium 50-105 tie rod provides firm tension for improved bass response. This configuration is suited to Short Scale basses, providing good projection while maintaining a comfortable playing feel. Notes remain deep and well-defined, with a percussive attack.

The nylon coating greatly reduces the sound of fingers sliding over the strings. This makes for cleaner playing, particularly appreciated for recording or softer styles. The strings are suitable for both fretted and fretless basses.

Each set is packaged in a recyclable VCI pouch that protects the strings from corrosion. A Players Circle code on the packaging allows you to register the product and collect points. The strings are made in the USA at the D'Addario production centre in New York State.
