DiGiCo - SD12

The DiGiCo SD12 is a high-end digital mixing console designed for professional sound reinforcement applications where processing power, audio quality and flexibility are essential. Designed for everything from international tours to theatres, places of worship, broadcast studios and permanent installations, it incorporates the technologies of the prestigious SD series in a more compact and accessible format.

Based on Stealth Digital Processing technology and FPGA-based processing, the SD12 offers 72 input channels, each with identical processing capabilities. Unlike some rival consoles, no compromises are made on DSP resources: every channel has access to the same processing tools, whatever the project.

Each channel features, in particular, a 4-band parametric equaliser capable of operating as a Dynamic EQ, two extremely comprehensive dynamics modules (compressor, multiband, de-esser, gate or ducker), two insert points, high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as DiGiTuBe analogue modelling. In total, the console features 119 Dynamic EQs, 119 multiband compressors and 119 freely assignable DiGiTuBe modules.

Ergonomics is another key strength. The two high-resolution 15-inch touchscreens, the 26 motorised 100 mm faders, the two assignable master faders and the DiGiCo Lightbar make working easier, even in dimly lit environments. The console also features a DVI output for displaying an overview on an external screen.

The SD12 incorporates 12 stereo effects processors, 16 32-band graphic equalisers, a full 12 × 8 matrix, 36 freely configurable buses and 12 control groups. Snapshots allow you to instantly recall all the settings for a show, making it particularly well-suited to complex productions.

Finally, thanks to its two DMI slots, its integrated UB MADI interface, its optional Optocore compatibility and its numerous expansion cards (Dante, Waves SoundGrid, AVB, Hydra2, KLANG, etc.), the SD12 integrates easily into virtually any modern professional audio infrastructure.
