While this mic may look like the D Sonic, it's actually very different. Despite its high output, the Crunch Lab's sound is always precise and well-defined.
Its "crunch" prefix comes from its ease and expressiveness in intermediate saturations. The sound is heavy in the bass and the treble has a lot of depth.
John loves this mic so much that he installed it on all his guitars, including his baritone and his 7-string.
