The nickel-plated steel wiring, treated with a liquid polymer, withstands the ravages of time and perspiration. This protection doesn't change the feel, so you can keep the raw feel of a freshly strung string.
Dimebag himself used them for his over-the-top bends and whammy bar dives. Their projection is bright enough to pierce through a busy mix, while remaining round in the bass. You can string artificial harmonics together and they come out with that typical 90s metal shrillness.

Dimebag Darrell, real name Darrell Lance Abbott, is a metal legend and iconic guitarist with Pantera. Born in 1966, he revolutionised the sound of metal with his powerful, innovative playing, combining aggressive riffs and precise techniques. Known for his charisma on stage, he also founded Damageplan. His career came to a tragic end in 2004, when he was murdered on stage. Dimebag remains an inspirational icon for generations of guitarists.
