The Dunlop JHR01M Jimi Hendrix Are You Experienced bag contains 24 picks in a lively, colourful design. Each pick features a different graphic motif from the explosive visual world of the ILOVEDUST UK studio.

Designed to be played as well as proudly displayed on the amp, these picks combine classic materials and graphic identity. The celluloid gives a well-calibrated attack, while retaining sufficient flexibility for dynamic rhythms.

The medium thickness makes it easy to adapt to a variety of styles, without upsetting habits. The familiar 351 format retains its familiarity while allowing room for new ideas. In the hand, the feel remains stable. In play, the glide is inspiring.

This set is an integral part of the Jimi Hendrix Artist Collection series, a sonic and visual celebration of the legendary guitarist's work. The multiple colours accentuate the pop and energy of the set.

A set that doesn't take itself too seriously, but remains serious about the essentials: feel, balance and the pleasure of the gesture. Ideal for those who like to vary styles... or lend out a few picks and never run out.

Jimi Hendrix was a great admirer of Bob Dylan, whose 1968 cover of All Along the Watchtower has become more famous than the original. He often used E flat (Eb) tuning to enrich the warmth of his sound. In London, he impressed legends such as Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck in his early concerts. He owned a collection of Fender Stratocaster guitars, which he personalised with mirrors or paint. Hendrix often wrote on napkins or hotel notebooks. He planned to set up a studio, Electric Lady, which he opened in August 1970 - a month before his death.
