This modernised version retains the foundations that have forged the success of the series: neutrality, precision and musicality, but with an extra touch of refinement in every detail, from the cabinet to the cabling.

Its 2.5-way architecture incorporates a 25 mm tweeter, a bass-midrange and a 170 mm woofer each, to deliver a lively, balanced and unpretentious sound reproduction. Thanks to the bass-reflex loading and a tuning frequency lowered to 35 Hz, the bass gains in depth without ever becoming intrusive. The result is a bass that is tight, precise and never bloated, even at high volumes.

The internal structure of the cabinet has been redesigned to channel vibrations more effectively. Internal reinforcements limit resonance, allowing the drivers to express themselves fully without acoustic pollution. The unit also benefits from OFC copper cabling and a revised passive crossover for more natural register separation and a much clearer stereo soundstage.

In terms of design, Elipson has ditched the metallic accents in favour of an immaculate matt finish that's both sober and elegant. The aesthetic blends easily into modern interiors, without compromising on performance. The new feet offer excellent decoupling to preserve the integrity of the bass, even on tiled or parquet floors.
