In live sessions or mics, this string occupies the high end of the spectrum with a roundness that raw steel alone does not produce - the PolyWeb coating dampens the most aggressive harmonics and lets the warm, round sound settle in without parasitic lightening.

Under the thumb or pick, the 15 gauge gives a frank resistance: neither soft nor rigid, the string responds with a calibrated physical return that stabilises the attack when strumming hard.
