Elokance - Orus 212A Bumper

The elokance Orus 212 Bumper is the centrepiece that allows a line of Orus 212A Array speakers to be raised. Admittedly less spectacular than a wall of speakers in full action, but absolutely essential whenever the system needs to be suspended above a stage or an audience.

This bumper has been specifically designed to accommodate the elokance Orus 212A Array active modules. It forms the starting point of the array and is integral to the mechanical assembly of the speakers prior to hoisting.

Its maximum capacity of 20 modules allows for the creation of large-scale systems for concerts, festivals, outdoor events or deep venues. The actual number of speakers must, however, be determined according to the desired coverage, the available height and the mechanical constraints of each installation.

Suspending a line array allows for a more even distribution of sound between the front rows and more distant areas. It also frees up floor space around the stage, whilst facilitating the gradual reorientation of the modules towards different sections of the audience.

The black finish of the bumper remains discreet on a lighting truss or stage structure. It complements the Orus 212A Array loudspeakers and prevents the mounting system from becoming an unintended centrepiece of the show.

Please note: this is not a matter of guesswork. The number of modules, the angles, the lifting points and the total load must be verified before each installation. The installation must be carried out by qualified professionals using suitable and correctly sized lifting accessories.
