The Dobro resonator guitar has been an American classic since its introduction in the early 1920s.
The wooden resonator or resophonic guitar became a national phenomenon thanks to Dobro Bashful pioneer Brother Oswald, who became an ambassador for the instrument playing it weekly on the Grand Ole Opry stage for over 60 years.
