Rediscover the efficiency and legendary sound of the Les Paul Custom with its solid mahogany body and Gibson USA 490/498 pickups, for a sound full of attack and punch. The one-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard are equally comfortable to play. The Les Paul in a suit, as the Americans call it.

Epiphone has teamed up with Gibson USA's iconic Custom Shop to take things up a notch.
Using a solid mahogany body topped by a maple top, you can be sure that the sound will be round, warm and powerful, with excellent sustain.
Playing comfort hasn't been neglected either, with a one-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, a pair renowned for pushing resonance and brilliance to new heights. Fans of old Gibson guitars will be delighted to find a Rounded Medium C neck profile typical of the 50s.
To shine in the spotlight, this Custom is dressed in Ebony, highlighted by its gloss varnish and complemented by the gold hardware on the fittings. The icing on the cake is the presence of the split diamond on the openbook head characteristic of vintage models.
But Les Paul Custom is all about sound! That's why the Les Paul Custom is equipped with the famous Gibson USA 490/498 pickups, renowned by guitarists the world over for their ability to deliver the fire of metal or the mellowness of blues by adjusting the volume.
To achieve this, the pickups are accompanied by hand-wired electronics using Mallory capacitors, CTS pots, a 3-position selector switch and a Switchcraft jack input. All very good stuff!
