The Evans B08HDD HD Dry 8" head is designed to control harmonics on small toms while maintaining a precise attack. Its double-ply structure with decompression vents produces a clean sound with short sustain. Sandblasting and an attenuator ring add strength and focus to the timbre.

On a small-diameter tom, the Evans B08HDD HD Dry 8" tom head keeps the sound clean and controlled. It's ideal for configurations where high frequencies need to be kept under control. Its 8" format makes it easy to integrate into the kit.
The construction is based on two plies with a 5 mil outer film and a 7.5 mil inner film. A 2 mil attenuator ring is placed under the surface to reduce excessive resonance. Decompression vents around the contour limit harmonics on impact.
The result is a slightly pronounced attack with rapid decay. The sound remains dry and less brilliant than a single-fold skin. This response helps to maintain legibility in fast passages.
Level 360 technology facilitates installation and tuning on the barrel. It ensures even tension and a consistent response. Made in the USA, this skin can be used both in rehearsal and live for a precise, controlled response!
