The Code Drumheads GENCL13 Generator Clear 13" tom skin is a double-ply skin designed for fast attack and short sustain. Its 2 plies of 7.5 mils provide solidity and control, even when played hard.

Presentation
The Code Drumheads GENCL13 Generator Clear 13" tom skin uses a double-ply construction consisting of 2 x 7.5 mil PET films. This total thickness of 15 mil provides greater resistance and a more controlled sound.
On a 13" tom, the skin reacts quickly as soon as you hit it. The attack comes through clearly and each stroke remains well defined.
Sustain is deliberately kept short. This avoids too many harmonics and keeps the tom precise in the mix.
An outer ring glued around the skin helps to control the natural resonance of the drum. The sound remains focused and easy to adjust when tuning.
This head is designed for drummers who play with energy. It easily withstands regular rehearsals and concerts.
The aluminium rim with steel core distributes tension evenly. On a 13" tom, you get a direct sound with a clean attack and well-controlled resonance.
