Evolite - FogShot CO2

The Evolite FogShot CO2 is positioned as a vertical effect solution to highlight the highlights of a set or show. The 2,500 W heating unit works with a CO2-compatible water-based fluid to produce a dense column that rises quickly and dissipates quickly. This approach recaptures the aesthetics of CO2 jets on stage, while still using a smoke machine that can be controlled in most venues.

The announced warm-up time is between 6 and 8 minutes, after which the machine switches to operational mode. The projection height is around 8 to 10 metres, making it ideal for medium-sized stages, clubs, TV studios and indoor corporate events. The volume of around 113,000 ft³/min (approximately 3,200 m³/min) and maximum continuous shooting time of around 10 seconds provide a comfortable margin for punctuating key moments without saturating the set.

Fluid consumption is around 1 minute per litre at full load. Combined with a 3-litre reservoir, this value provides a clear calculation basis for organising refills according to the number of sequences planned in the sequence. In typical use, the shots remain short and spaced out, which limits consumption in relation to the visual dynamics generated.

The FogShot CO2 also incorporates a ring of 30 8 W RGBY LEDs. This choice of palette makes it possible to work with the colours usually used in shows (RGB) as well as a yellow component for warm shades and certain white effects. The smoke plume can thus be adjusted to the dominant colour of the lighting plan, whether in a clubbing, live, event or touring context.

The machine offers several control modes: remote control, on-board panel and DMX512. The remote control is practical for light set-ups or one-off triggers. The control panel is useful for local adjustments and tests. The DMX512 mode is based on 15-channel mapping, offering detailed control of firings, dynamics and LEDs in global lighting programming.
