FBT Touring - MUSE 218SND

The MUSE 218SND by FBT Touring is a direct-radiating floor-standing subwoofer, featuring two 460 mm long-excursion B&C drivers with 100 mm voice coil and 4000 W Class D amplification, capable of reaching a sound pressure level of 148.5 dB.

The bass-reflex enclosure offers significant power down to 30 Hz and is ideal for extending and reinforcing the low frequencies of the MUSE 210LND line array in ground-stack configuration.

It has presets to create various cardioid directivity configurations, where some subwoofers are oriented towards the rear of the audience to acoustically cancel the sound pressure behind the cluster, thus obtaining a reduction in SPL at the rear of more than 15 dB.

The 218 SND subwoofer, optimized using BEM-type acoustic simulations to reduce duct resonances and turbulence, is constructed from 18 mm birch plywood with six handles and anti-scratch paint.

The MUSE 218SND subwoofer has a reinforced grille with protective fabric and the possibility of installing four optional 4'' (100 mm) swivel casters on the rear panel.

It features the new 4000W amplifier module with integrated TCP / IP network interface. Based on the AES70 standard (OCA Alliance), it communicates with FBT's "INFINITO management suite" remote control software and receives 24bit 48-96KHz digital audio streaming from all devices compatible with the "DANTE" standard.

The MUSE 218SND is equipped with intelligent forced ventilation and an OLED display with encoder for parameter adjustment. A high-brightness blue front LED allows the device to be identified from a distance, even in daylight.
