The Electro-Voice ETX-18SP is a powerful and versatile active subwoofer designed to meet the needs of both fixed and mobile applications.
Featuring an 18-inch driver and an 1800-watt Class D amplifier, it delivers impressive sound power with a maximum SPL of 135dB, guaranteeing deep, punchy bass for any type of event.
Thanks to its integrated DSP and switchable low-pass filter (80, 100, 120 or 150 Hz), the ETX-18SP offers optimised settings to suit a variety of sound configurations, whether for live concerts, clubs, fixed installations or mobile performances.
The FIR filter and presets accessible via the LCD control screen enable precise sound management and perfect integration with speakers from the same range.
Made from 18 mm Finnish birch, the cabinet is both robust and designed for controlled sound diffusion. Inspired by the technologies used in Electro-Voice's Concert range, it minimises unwanted bass propagation on stage while maximising its impact on the audience.
Several ETX-18SPs can be configured in cardioid mode to reduce bass dispersion to the rear, achieving a rejection of 30 dB.
With ergonomic side handles, removable castors and a 35mm socket for a coupling tube, this subwoofer is easy to transport and install. The metal grille provides long-lasting protection, even in the most demanding conditions.

The Electro-Voice ETX loudspeaker family has been built on EV's technical heritage to offer the most technologically advanced powered loudspeakers for fixed and mobile applications.
Output levels, frequency response and coverage are optimised thanks to SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) technology combined with a state-of-the-art DSP accessed by a simple rotary knob. The drivers designed and manufactured by EV for the ETX include SMX-type bass drivers using composite cones, flow stabiliser rings and temperature management.
These components offer lower distortion, more consistent response and higher SPL. The high-efficiency DH3-B compression driver features a convex diaphragm feeding a phase-coherent element extending the response curve up to 20 kHz.
The ETX family includes 3 2-way speaker models (25 cm, 30 cm, and 38 cm with a 1.5-inch titanium compression driver), a 3-way speaker and subwoofers with 38 cm and 46 cm drivers.
The ETXs combine a sophisticated EV DSP, high-power amplifiers and ultra-high-efficiency drivers to deliver the sound for which Electro-Voice is renowned.

Les basses sont vraiment incroyables et apportent une magnifique profondeur aux têtes. Les roulettes sont hyper pratiques et le DSP est si simple à utiliser. Un petit bémol pour les poignées de transport. Lorsque l'enceinte est sur roulette, il faut se tordre la main pour soulever l'enceinte. Une deuxième poignée dans l'autre sens serait un vrai plus pour la manutention.
