Its ash body, combined with a Road Worn nitrocellulose finish, reproduces the natural wear of guitars from the 50s, offering a familiar feel from the first time you pick it up.
The 1951 U-profile maple neck is shouldered and comfortable, while the 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage tall frets ensure smooth playability and a classic feel. The Pure Vintage '51 pickups deliver a clean, crisp sound with the characteristic twang for which Fender is renowned. The three-position selector switch makes it easy to switch from a bright, incisive sound to rounder, warmer tones.
