Presentation
The American Professional Classic Jazzmaster® in 3-Color Sunburst finish is an eye-catcher with a warm, vintage gradation that immediately evokes the spirit of classic Fender models. Its lightweight, balanced alder body makes it comfortable to play, whether in the studio or on stage.
The rosewood fingerboard has a soft feel to it, ideal for chords, riffs and solos without fatigue. The Modern C neck and stepped ClassicGear™ tuners ensure stable tuning and a fluid feel, true to Fender tradition while meeting the needs of contemporary musicians.
Jazzmaster® '65 Coastline™ pickups provide a unique sonic character. The bridge pickup delivers crisp, bright attacks perfect for rhythms that need to break through in the mix and the neck pickup gives a warmth and roundness that enriches solos and melodic passages. The three-position selector switch and Greasebucket™ system make it easy to adjust the tone, without losing clarity of sound, making the instrument very versatile depending on the styles being played.
The Jazzmaster bridge with Mustang saddles and vintage floating tremolo provide generous sustain and controlled vibrato, for subtle or marked effects. The 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and jumbo medium frets make for easy bends and quick articulations, while making it fun to play, whether you're playing complex phrases or extended chords.
Every detail of this Jazzmaster, from the tricolour pickguard to the aged buttons, gives it that unique retro charm. Supplied with its bag, it's ready to play as soon as you pick it up, whether in the studio, on stage or just rehearsing at home. Comfortable and easy to hold, it gives you total freedom to create and express your music.

To find out more...
Fender has been part of the world's sound scene since the 50s, and the Jazzmaster is a chapter in its own right.
Born in 1958 to appeal to jazz fans (spoiler: it was the surfers and rockers who adopted it), it has survived the decades without being overtaken.
With the American Professional Classic series, the brand has returned to its original DNA, while adapting its instrument to today's habits.
To accompany this guitar, don't forget to bring a spare set of strings (Fender USA 250L, if you want to stay in tune), a sturdy stand, or a small multi-effect to gently wake the neighbours.
A good microfibre cloth and a gloss polish won't go amiss if you want to maintain its shiny finish after a few intensive sessions.
