Presentation
The Fender American Professional Hot Shot Telecaster draws on over seventy years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the demands of today’s professional musicians. Its highly regarded Deep ‘C’ neck features rounded fretboard edges, a ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel, for optimal playing comfort and easier access to the higher registers.
The new Telecaster V-Mod III single-coil pickups deliver the twang, bite and character for which the Tele is renowned, with even greater articulation. But the Hot Shot goes a step further: a Stratocaster® V-Mod III single-coil pickup, specifically positioned in the middle slot, combines with a 5-way selector switch to reveal a whole new dimension to the Fender sound.
The ClassicGear™ Precision™ potentiometers, meanwhile, provide smooth and consistent control, thanks to customised torque, precise resistance and a musical response curve, ranging from the classic bite of the Tele to crystal-clear tones inspired by the Strat, via intermediate positions, all brought together in a single instrument.
The Hot Shot Telecaster offers immediate familiarity and tonal versatility that is evident from the very first notes, with enhancements that set a new standard for professional instruments.
