T Style Guitar

The American Professional Classic Telecaster SS RW Faded Dakota Red electric guitar pays homage to Fender's 60s aesthetic codes with a modern twist. Its solid alder body, screw-down Modern "C" maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide immediate tonal balance and an intuitive feel. The Coastline '63 Telecaster pickup duo delivers a full-bodied sound with punch and brilliance, ideal for even the most delicate situations. The high-gloss finish, vintage hardware and Greasebucket circuit complete the package with finesse. Designed for musicians who like to knit riffs with personality, this Telecaster combines comfort, tradition and everyday precision.

Fender has designed the Telecaster SS RW Faded Dakota Red for those who love a vintage sound with just the right amount of modern bite. The alder body, the brand's signature wood, produces a tone that's both round and dynamic, with a consistent midrange and solid bass. The clean attack typical of Telecasters is enhanced here by Coastline '63 pickups, inspired by the Pure Vintage series, but with a little extra windage for added warmth and responsiveness. This isn't just a guitar to be played, it's a guitar that responds, that picks up, that talks to you like an old stage mate.

The Modern 'C' neck, well known at Fender, remains a model of comfort. If you'd tried it 10 years ago, you'd probably have had trouble putting it down. With its 9.5" radius, jumbo medium frets and fluid access to all 22 frets, this neck makes you want to hang out on it long after the song is over. Your hand glides along, ideas flow and riffs take hold.

ClassicGear's offset-axis tuning machines do that little extra thing that your old automatic tuner never did: they keep things stable and look good at the same time. Combined with the vintage brass bridge, they give the Telecaster solid tuning and an old-school flavour that always hits the spot. The Mint Green 3-ply pickguard, knurled knobs and chrome hardware add a touch of class without overdoing it. And in between biting solos, you can adjust your treble with the Greasebucket circuit, which reduces high frequencies without distorting your signal: a neat little trick for fans of fine nuances.

Fender designed this Telecaster in Corona, California, as a bridge between past and present. One foot in the heritage of the 60s, the other ready to leap into your next project. It's been designed for those who go from compo to live without breaking a sweat, for the sonically curious and the twang faithful alike. Give it a try... or let it choose you.

The American Professional Classic series embodies the controlled evolution of Fender's historic instruments. Since 1946, the brand has cultivated a close relationship with musicians from all walks of life, from Californian surf to New York punk. With this modernised Telecaster, it continues to tell a story where heritage is played at volume 10, but with no fixed nostalgia.

Want to go further? Consider a transparent overdrive pedal to take advantage of the natural grain of the Coastline '63, or an aftermarket set of strings to keep the feel smooth and the frets in good condition. A gentle polish and a microfibre cloth will keep the finish spotless.
