Fender - American Professional Telecaster Maple Natural

Designed for the modern musician, Fender’s American Professional Telecaster Maple Natural builds on the model’s heritage whilst incorporating targeted improvements. Its ash body, finished in polyurethane, offers natural resonance with clear highs and defined lows – characteristics much appreciated by purists.

The maple neck, with a Deep ‘C’ profile, features a satin ‘Super-Natural’ finish on the back, combined with rounded fretboard edges and a sculpted heel: these details make it easier to move along the entire 648 mm scale length, even in the highest positions.

The maple fingerboard, with a 9.5-inch radius and fitted with 22 Narrow Tall frets, allows for precise bends and fast, smooth playing. The Black Dot inlays offer immediate readability. The electronics feature two V-Mod III Single-Coil Tele pickups, which deliver the clarity and percussive attack characteristic of the brand.

The three-position switch, master volume and master tone controls provide intuitive control, whilst the push-push switch activates Series mode, transforming the two pickups into a humbucker-like configuration to broaden the tonal palette towards thicker, more saturated tones.

The Top-Load/String-Through bridge, fitted with three ClassicGear compensated brass saddles, improves sustain and intonation, whilst offering two string-mounting options. The Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered tuning machines, combined with nickel/chrome hardware, ensure stability and tuning accuracy.

Supplied with its Deluxe moulded case, this Telecaster combines tradition with practical features for everyday use, both in the studio and on stage.
