Fender - American Professional Telecaster Maple Oxblood

The Fender American Professional Telecaster Maple Oxblood is designed for discerning guitarists seeking both the timeless character of the Telecaster and contemporary features. Its ash body, chosen for its dynamic response and light weight, features a polyurethane finish that protects the wood without altering its natural resonance.

The maple neck, with a Deep ‘C’ profile, features a ‘Super-Natural’ satin finish on the back, rounded fretboard edges and a redesigned heel: these features reduce fatigue during long sessions and offer smooth access to the higher registers, across a scale length of 648 mm.

The maple fingerboard, with its 9.5-inch radius and 22 Narrow Tall frets, provides a familiar and precise feel, whether playing rhythmic chords or fast melodic lines. The Black Dot inlays ensure clear positioning.

The electronics feature two V-Mod III Single-Coil Tele pickups, designed to retain the legendary punch and twang, along with a three-position switch, master volume and master tone controls. The push-push switch for Series mode is a major advantage: it connects the two pickups in series, delivering increased power and a rounder response, ideal for rock or blues.

The Top-Load/String-Through bridge, fitted with ClassicGear compensated brass saddles, allows for fine intonation adjustment and enhances frequency transmission. The Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered tuning machines and nickel/chrome hardware round off this robust package. Supplied with its Deluxe case, this Telecaster offers sonic versatility and playing comfort that will appeal to collectors and active musicians alike.
