The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS Cactus Gray features an alder body and a maple neck with a Modern C profile, designed for fast, fluid playing. It features an HSS configuration with a Player Series AlNiCo II humbucker in the bridge and 2 Player Series AlNiCo V singles, controlled by a five-position selector. The 2-point synchronised vibrato and ClassicGear™ tuners complete a lutherie geared towards precision and stability!

Presentation
The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS Cactus Gray features a solid body alder body with Gloss Polyester finish and typical Stratocaster® bevels. The maple neck has a Modern C profile and a satin finish on the back, with a gloss varnish on the front. It is assembled to the body using standard four-screw construction.
The maple fingerboard has a 9.5" (241 mm) radius and rounded edges for consistent playing comfort throughout. It features 22 medium jumbo frets. The scale measures 25.5" (648 mm) and the synthetic bone saddle is 42 mm wide.
The electronics are based on an HSS configuration combining a Player Series AlNiCo II humbucker in the bridge position and 2 Player Series AlNiCo V single pickups in the centre and neck positions. The 5-position selector switch makes it possible to use every combination of pickups, from the bridge alone to the neck pickup. Settings include a master volume and 2 dedicated tones.
The 2-point synchronised vibrato bridge uses pressed steel bridges. Fender® ClassicGear™ tuners feature a modern 18:1 ratio. The hardware features a nickel/chrome finish with 3-ply parchment pickguard. Knobs, pickup covers and selector tip are aged white plastic. The guitar is fitted with Fender® USA 250L strings in .009-.042 draw.
