Jet Guitars - JS 700 BKN Limited

A tight, punchy tone at the bridge and an open, resonant tone at the neck – that’s the signature sound of the JET Guitars JS 700 BKN Limited, an ST-style electric guitar from the 700 Series. Its satin green finish, with a silky feel, glides smoothly against the forearm, whilst the black pickguard provides a sharp contrast to the alder body, which balances the warmth of the bass frequencies with the bite of the mid-range.

The kiln-dried maple neck, bolt-on to the body, remains stable from one gig to the next. Its Modern C profile moulds to the palm, the rosewood fingerboard with a 12" (304.80 mm) radius makes bends easier, and the 22 frets open up the treble end. The 25.5" (647.70 mm) scale length keeps the strings taut for a crisp attack. The dual-action truss rod corrects curvature in both directions; the 1.65" (41.91 mm) bone nut allows for free vibration; and the custom inlays guide your fingering. Locking tuners speed up string changes and maintain tuning, whilst the fixed bridge transmits every note to the body.

In HS configuration, the JET Rail at the neck opens up the sound and the Bare Knuckle Brute Force at the bridge delivers a powerful rock tone. The 3-position selector switch controls the mix, whilst volume and tone controls adjust the tone; the black hardware complements the understated green finish. JET Guitars, a Slovenian brand, has approved this model following months of testing and feedback from players.
