Focal - 100 ICW6

The Focal 100 ICW6 loudspeaker is an innovative product designed and developed in France, ready to transform your sound environment. This two-way coaxial loudspeaker offers new musicality and fits discreetly into your home, whether you want to install it on the wall or the ceiling.

The heart of its performance lies in its advanced acoustic technologies. The speaker incorporates a 16.5cm Polyglass membrane driver. This exclusive Focal technology applies fine glass microbeads to a cellulose pulp cone, which combines the excellent damping of paper with the rigidity of glass. The result? A remarkably linear frequency response curve and increased definition in the midrange.

For high frequencies, the 100 ICW6 features a 25mm aluminium inverted dome tweeter, a Focal signature since 1981. This tweeter stands out for its optimal spatial dispersion and very low directivity, offering unequalled dynamics and remarkable sound image precision. A waveguide has been specially developed to perfect spatialization and improve this low directivity, guaranteeing a soundstage of incredible stability.

For a balanced sound distribution adapted to your space, the speaker is fitted with a crossover that reduces the "shower effect" of the sound. You can also adjust the treble level in three positions (-3dB, 0dB, +3dB) to suit the acoustics of your room. The tweeter can be rotated by up to 20° and rotates through 360°, giving you a more spacious sound.

Simplicity and discretion are the major assets of the 100 ICW6. Its shallow installation depth (91 mm) and optimised mounting brackets make installation quick and reliable. The unibody chassis is extremely rigid and prevents vibrations. The magnetic grilles, delivered ready to paint (circular or square), blend harmoniously into any décor.

A considerable advantage of this loudspeaker is its resistance to humidity. Thanks to the 'tropicalisation' process of its Polyglass membrane, the 100 ICW6 is perfectly suited to humid environments, such as bathrooms, thus extending its installation possibilities.
