The rear panel of Trio6 Be incorporates two 6.35 mono jack female connectors (one input and one output). The input is for connecting a foot controller (not supplied) and the output is for connecting to a second Trio6 Be, to which the jack connector will be plugged as input. In this way, the two monitors switch simultaneously from 3-channel mode to 2-channel mode simply by pressing the footswitch (permanent contact/switch type).

Adjustable mid-high stage:

The aluminium plate incorporating the tweeter and woofer can be rotated through 360° (in 90° steps), so that Trio6 Be can be used vertically or horizontally, and the bass can be positioned centrally or externally. This function optimises the monitor's performance according to its position in the room and the room's acoustics. This gives Trio6 Be great flexibility when it comes to integration, even in the most cramped rooms.

The Focal TRIO6 Be 3-way is an active proximity loudspeaker, bringing real innovation by combining the famous 1" beryllium inverted dome tweeter, a 5" composite sandwich cone woofer with double low reflection in an insulated chamber, and an 8" composite sandwich cone subwoofer in a 3-way or 2-way configuration, when set to "FOCUS".
The TRIO6 Be's "FOCUS" mode can be activated by connecting a standard 6.3mm jack pedal and is useful when you want to focus your attention on the mid and high frequencies of your mix. The speakers are housed in a 22mm MDF cabinet.
To enable the TRIO6 Be to be oriented vertically and horizontally, the tweeter and woofer are mounted in a rotating baffle that is capable of turning 360 degrees in 90-degree steps.
Using a total power output of 450 W through a combination of a class A/B amplifier (tweeter) and two class G amplifiers (woofer and subwoofer), the monitor speaker can deliver a frequency response of 35 to 40,000 Hz (in three-way mode) up to 115 dB peak with low, high and 160 Hz notch filter settings.
